The ceramic tile mosaics are Frost-Proof which means they can be subjected to cold temperatures but should not be installed where they may be subjected to freezing temperatures. You can install these mosaics inside the pool in cold climates, if you do not drain your pool in the winter and your pool water does not freeze solid. The ceramic line of mosaics should not be installed in freezing weather climates outside of the pool itself (as part of the decking, on an outdoor wall or on the countertop of your outdoor barbeque area as examples) as freeze/thaw conditions could cause the tiles to crack.
The porcelain tile mosaics may be installed in freezing climates in and outside of the pool. Porcelain clay does not absorb water as much as ceramic clay does and therefore, can be installed in cold weather climates and freeze/thaw conditions are not an issue for porcelain tiles.
